Mission Statement

The mission of the Children’s Advocacy Center of Lawrence County is to prevent child abuse now and in the future through….

Intervention: promoting a coordinated, multidisciplinary response to child abuse by facilitating the collaboration of professionals and agencies who address investigation, prosecution, and/or treatment in order to reduce the trauma to children;

Prevention:  providing educational opportunities and programs and developing awareness within all segments of the community regarding child abuse.
