Jameson Diabetes Management Receives Certificate of Recognition

New Castle, PA – The Jameson Diabetes Management Program has been awarded continued Recognition from the American Diabetes Association.  The Jameson Diabetes Management Program offers high quality diabetes self-management education that is an essential component of effective diabetes treatment.  This Recognition assures that educational programs meet the National Standards for Diabetes Self-Management Education Programs.  Education Recognition status is verified by an official certificate from ADA and is awarded for three years.

            The Jameson Diabetes Management Program voluntarily submitted to a rigorous review process by experts in the field of diabetes who evaluated each program on its ability to provide patients with a comprehensive individualized education program.  The Jameson Diabetes Management Program has a staff of knowledgeable health professionals who provide participants with comprehensive information about diabetes management.  Certified Diabetes Educators include:  Janice Whiting RN, BSN, CDE-Coordinator, Tess Grime RN, CDE, Janet Aliff RD, LD, CDE, Lynn Lytle RN,CDE,  Laurie Perretta RN, CDE and Karen Peterson RD, LD Registered Dietitian.  “Assuring high quality education to help develop and improve patient self-care skills essential to diabetes management is one of the primary goals of the Jameson Diabetes Management Program.”  “We are proud to receive this recognition which exemplifies the high standards of the program,” comments Janice Whiting, Coordinator.
