South Campus Kick-Off Party Launch WalkAmerica 2007

– Jameson Hospital
South Campus will host the March of Dimes WalkAmerica, the walk
that saves babies, Kick-Off Party on
February 23, 2007
at
8 am
. WalkAmerica is the
biggest fund raiser for the March of Dimes.
It supports research and programs to help prevent or treat
premature birth, birth defects and other threats to infant health.
Local business leaders, walkers and families touched by the
mission of the March of Dimes will gather at the Jameson South
Campus to celebrate the start of a successful WalkAmerica season.
Jameson Health System has served the
community for over 75 years providing high-quality,
community-based health care services to
Lawrence
County
. With 300 beds,
Jameson operates as a full-service acute care facility occupying
two campuses, Jameson Hospital North and Jameson Hospital South.
Many outreach centers throughout
Lawrence
County
provide access to a broad and integrated continuum of health and
human services to the community.
Founded in 1938, the March of Dimes is a
national voluntary health agency whose mission to to improve the
health of babies by preventing birth defects, premature birth and
infant mortality.
