Radiography Holds Graduation Ceremony

– Jameson
Health System’s
School
of
Radiography
and Specialty programs held its 32nd annual graduation
ceremony at the
Jameson
South
Conference
Center
on Friday, May 22.
There
were a total of sixteen graduates, nine in Radiography, two in
Nuclear Medicine, one in Ultrasound, one in Magnetic Resonance
Imaging, two in Computerized Tomography and one in Mammography.
All nine of the Radiography graduates will further pursue
education in Jameson specialty programs, one in Nuclear Medicine,
one in Ultrasound, four in Magnetic Resonance Imaging, one in
Mammography and two in Computerized Tomography.
Radiography
graduates were: Travis
Borelli, Patricia Collet, Della L. Elford, Samantha Headley,
Robert J. Hempfling, Lindsay N. Salata, Rachel Ann Staul,
Angelique Stein and Bethany Marie Wright.
Specialty program graduates were Jesse C. Mahosky and
Andrew Pisano from Nuclear Medicine; Christie M. Gibbons from
Ultrasound, Trisha A. Riddle from Magnetic Resonance Imaging,
Jessica L. Bair and Robert J. D’Andrea from Computerized
Tomography and Elizabeth A. Wallace from Mammography.
Several
students received awards for outstanding clinical and classroom
work. Rachel Staul received the Jameson Clinical Excellence Award
for overall best clinical performance and patient care.
The Elsevier Award for academic excellence was given to
Angelique Stein. The
Phoenix Award, given to the graduating student who had to overcome
the most personal obstacles to complete their education, went to
Robert J. Hempfling.
Master
of ceremonies Bob Ondo, PACS administrator, medical
imaging/radiation safety officer; Jane Beight, director of
diagnostic services; and David W. Hyser, director of the school of
radiography and specialty programs, spoke during the ceremony.
Mr. Doug Danko, Jameson Health System’s president &
CEO, gave the keynote address.
