– Jameson Health System is proud to introduce Eva Toth, M.D.
as she joins the endocrinology staff of
Jameson
Memorial
Hospital
effective
July 1, 2008
. Dr. Toth brings over 13 years of
experience in diabetes, endocrinology and metabolism care.
A board-certified endocrinologist, Dr. Toth specializes in
diagnosing and treating a variety of glandular and hormonal
disorders, including diabetes, diseases of the thyroid, pituitary
and adrenal glands, polycystic ovarian syndrome, low testosterone,
high cholesterol levels and osteoporosis.
In the past ten years she practiced at
UPMC
Horizon
Hospital
and was appointed as the Medical
Director of the
UPMC
Horizon
Diabetes
Center
. She worked most recently at
Butler Regional Endocrinology.
Dr. Toth is a 1981 graduate of the
Albert
Szentgyörgyi
University
Medical
School
in
Szeged
,
Hungary
. She completed
residencies in
Hungary
in radiology and internal
medicine. Her
United States
residency was completed in the
Department of Medicine at
Mercy
Hospital
,
Pittsburgh
,
Pa.
She served a 1987
fellowship in gastroenterology in
Hungary
and in 1993 in endocrinology at
UPMC Shadyside in
Pittsburgh
,
Pa.
Dr. Toth is board certified in internal medicine, diabetes,
endocrinology and metabolism.
Her memberships include the American Diabetes Association,
American Association of Clinical Endocrinologists and Endocrine
Society.
In addition to joining the Jameson Memorial Hospital medical
staff, Dr. Toth will also offer private practice hours at
Jameson’s South Campus, 1000 South Mercer St., Suite 203, New
Castle, Pa. Office hours are Monday, Tuesday and Friday from 9:00
a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
An additional office is located at The Surgery Center at
Cranberry, 105 Brandt Drive, Suite 204, Cranberry Township, Pa.
