Hospital Awarded Medical Command Facility Recognition
New Castle, PA – Jameson
Memorial Hospital has successfully completed the Medical Command
Facility Recognition Program process.
The Pennsylvania Department of Health awarded Jameson
Hospital’s Emergency Department recognition as a medical command
facility through April 2007.
The Jameson Hospital voluntarily participates in the
Medical Command Facility Recognition Program.
As a medical command
facility, paramedics and EMTs can contact the Emergency Department
via radio or telephone to speak directly to an Emergency Medicine
Physician concerning the treatment of patients suffering an acute
illness or injury.
Emergency Services are provided 24 hours a day.
Jameson Memorial Hospital’s Emergency Services is
dedicated to prompt, efficient, quality care of patients.
