– Thomas White, Jameson Health System President/CEO,
received recognition from the American Hospital Association for
the Jameson Hospital as a 75-year member of the American Hospital
Association. Jameson
was honored with a membership plaque recognizing the 75th
anniversary membership and recognition of ongoing commitment to
the patients and communities Jameson serves.
The
American Hospital Association provides education for health care
leaders and is a source of information on health care issues and
trends. Through the representation and advocacy activities, the AHA
ensures that members' perspectives and needs are heard and
addressed in national health policy development, legislative and
regulatory debates, and judicial matters.
White
emphasized, “Being a member of the American Hospital Association
for 75-years demonstrates our long-standing commitment to bringing
contemporary health care to our community to improve the health of
the people we serve.”
Jameson
Health System has served the community for over 75 years providing
high-quality, community-based health care services to Lawrence
County. With 300
beds, Jameson operates as a full-service acute care facility
occupying two campuses, Jameson Hospital North and Jameson
Hospital South. Many
outreach centers throughout Lawrence County provide access to a
broad and integrated continuum of health and human services to the
community.
