Jameson Hospital Receives Pennsylvania Medical Society CME Accreditation

New Castle , PA - Jayne Sheehan, Director of Professional and Allied Health Education, announced that the Pennsylvania Medical Society’s Commission on Continuing Medical Education awarded a 3-year accreditation to the hospital to sponsor CME ’s for physicians and other allied health professionals at Jameson.

Jameson believes that ongoing education of physicians is essential to fulfill purpose, continue its viability and maintain the health of the community.  The majority of the programs are open to the medical community at large.  Jameson Hospital has approximately 220 physicians on staff.  Outcome assessments unique to the programs are developed in conjunction with the Jameson CME Committee.

With 300 beds, Jameson is a full-service acute care facility offering a full continuum of health and human services in New Castle , Lawrence County .
