Jameson
Hospital Acquires Revolutionary New Ultrasound System-
Dramatically Expanding Diagnostic Imaging Capabilities
New Castle, PA – Jameson Hospital has recently added
a revolutionary ultrasound system with new imaging advancements,
which provides excellent image quality and increased diagnostic
information for ultrasound exams.
The new ultrasound system from Siemens Medical Solutions
Ultrasound Division provides radiologists at Jameson with
unsurpassed diagnostic images of anatomy and pathology.
The new Sequoia ultrasound system features the new
Signature II option, supporting advanced imaging technologies,
performance and workflow enhancements that provide physicians with
unprecedented imaging capabilities.
The new ultrasound system at Jameson also includes Tissue
Equalization technology, which at the push of a button, identifies
whether the ultrasound echoes are coming from soft tissue or
artifacts and immediately sets the brightness and gain in two
dimensions for any ultrasound patient.
“Our new Sequoia ultrasound system with the Tissue
Equalization technology is an invaluable tool for obtaining
excellent ultrasound images with an abundance of information,”
says Dr. Markowitz at Jameson Memorial Hospital.
“We are now able to quickly optimize images on our
sickest patients and promptly obtain the diagnostic information we
need to help them.
Jameson’s new system also includes Native Tissue Harmonic
Imaging (NTHI). NTHI
enables clinicians to capture clearer, sharper images that
previously were unattainable with a non-invasive exam.
Jameson Health System provides a full continuum of care for
the residents in Lawrence County. The upgrades to Jameson’s
diagnostic capabilities is a demonstration of their commitment to
enhance the services they offer to the community. For additional information, visit our website at www.jamesonhealthsystem.com
