Two
High School Seniors Win Jameson Health System Scholarship
Jeffrey Morris and Elayna Saad are this year’s recipients of
the Jameson Health System Scholarship Award.
Jeffrey Morris, the son of Renee Morris who is a Jameson operating
room registered nurse, plans to attend
American
University
in the fall to major in political science/international relations.
Jeffrey will graduate from
New
Wilmington
High School
.
Elayna Saad is a student at
Shenango
High School
and plans to attend the
University
of
Pittsburgh
to major in pre-law and go on to law school.
Elayna is the daughter of Anne Saad who is employed as a
Medical Secretary in the Jameson laboratory.
Since
1996, Jameson Health System annually awards two $500 academic
scholarships to individuals who are dependents of Jameson
employees. The students must meet the criteria for outstanding
academic performance, qualities of leadership and extra-curricular
accomplishments.
All
candidates and their parents were invited to a luncheon at the
hospital on
May 10, 2007
where the awards were presented by Mr. Thomas White, President/CEO
of the Jameson Health System, and Mr. Neil Chessin, Vice President
Jameson Health System.
