A Child Safety
& Health Screening Program
Jameson
Health System and New Wilmington Kiwanis Club will sponsor a Child
Safety and Health Screening Program on Saturday, June 9, from
10:00 A.M.
to
2:00 P.M.
in the
Jameson
Community
Health
Building
and parking
lot in New Wilmington.
Childhood safety and health issues are of great concern during the
summer months and this “Start of Summer” (
SOS
) program
will focus on health and safety concerns of pre-school
and elementary children (K-6) and their families. Local
restaurants and eating establishments will offer healthy food
choices and breakfast/lunch specials.
Eleven fun and interactive education sessions or screening areas
will be staffed by Jameson medical personnel, Pennsylvania State
Police, Lawrence County Sheriff Department, and New Wilmington
Borough police. There
will be door prizes and “giveaways.”

all surrounding areas are encouraged to attend this program which
is free and open to the public.
