Jameson Hospital and Penn Ohio Health Care Offer Wellness Event For Employees of Local Businesses

Jameson Health System and Penn-Ohio Health Care Alliance invite employees of local businesses to attend a Wellness Event on Saturday, May 12, 2007 ,  from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon at the Jameson South Campus, Conference Center , 1000 South Mercer Street , New Castle . 

Jameson invites you to be a part of this community effort to take time for a “Spring Screening.”  Health screenings to be offered include blood sugar, cholesterol checks, blood pressure, PSA (prostate specific antigen for men), vision and posture screenings.

Other education to be provided includes summer safety, smoking cessation, breast cancer prevention, prevention of carpal tunnel, infant car seat safety and child internet safety.  

To be eligible for prize drawings, participants can pick up a Wellness Passport at the event, visit ten education or screening booths and obtain a signature. 

  The public is asked to register for the screenings by calling 724-656-4270 .  There is no fee to attend for employees of local businesses.
