Jameson Health System is pleased to announce
the following details for the Community-wide Flu Vaccine Clinics.
The clinics are designed to meet the needs of the adult
population of Lawrence County and will follow CDC guidelines.
Beginning,
November 15, 2006 Flu Vaccine is available at the following
locations:
Jameson Mohawk Community Health Center - 724-667-2273
Jameson New Wilmington Health Center - 724-946-2273
Jameson Shenango Health Center - 724-654-0130
Jameson Visiting Nurses Association - South Campus 1- 4 pm
Monday - Friday
Please
call in advance for the Community Health Center staff availability
to give the injection. Walk-in
service for Jameson Visiting Nurses is available Monday-Friday.
Flu
Vaccine will be administered to adults 18 and older and according
the CDC guidelines.
Traditional
Medicare, Security Blue and Freedom Blue insurances are accepted.
Advantra,
Health Assurance, Health America, other insurances and HMOs are
not accepted.
Cost
is $30.00.
Persons
with allergies to a previous flu vaccine, eggs, chickens,
Thimerosol (Mercury) or latex should not receive FLUARIX Influenza
Virus Vaccine. Persons
with Guillain-Barre' syndrome or other neurological disorders
should not receive flu vaccine.
Be sure to bring all insurance cards, wear a
short-sleeved top and bring your glasses.
