JAMESON FRIENDS OF HOSPICE
Hospice Angels 2004

New Castle, PA
- Jameson Friends of Hospice are sponsoring an Angel Ornament Sale to honor loved ones.  Angel ornaments may be purchased in loving memory of the deceased or to honor a living individual. This year’s angel is fashioned of hammered white and gold tin suitable for hanging as a tree ornament or for gift giving.  Hospice angels can be personalized in calligraphy print on a scroll in the name of a deceased loved one or in honor of a living person.

All tax-deductible donations are used for the care and service to Jameson Hospice patients.  Hospice has met the needs of thousands of patients and their families without charge to them since 1981 when a local physician John Prioletti, M.D. and Sister Carmen Puhl founded it.  At that time it was the second hospice in Pennsylvania and the first hospice to be fully accredited.

Tax-deductible donations for Hospice Angels can be made for $10, $20, $50, $100 or more.  To place an order, please call Jameson Friends of Hospice Volunteer, Rita Dattilo, at 724-652-8460.

Jameson Friends of Hospice are volunteers who dedicate countless hours to raise money to assist in the care of hospice patients.  Current projects include the “Little Emma Remembrance Bears” an article of clothing from a loved one is made into a bear and presented to the family and the renovation of the hospice patient and family rooms.

Jameson Hospice of Lawrence County, “Helping People to Live,” is located at the South Campus and serves Lawrence, western Butler, southern Mercer and northern Beaver counties in Pennsylvania.  Hospice care is for physical, social and spiritual needs.  It is a special kind of care for people with terminal illness and their families.  It is about living life to the fullest in secure and familiar surroundings with those who matter most, family and friends.  Hospice offers terminally ill patients and families peace of mind as well as an alternative to costly, repeated hospitalizations.
