Jameson Health System is pleased to announce
the following details for the Community-wide Flu Vaccine Clinics.
The clinics are designed to meet the needs of the adult
population of Lawrence County and will follow CDC guidelines.
The clinics are as follows:
October 20, 2006 Mohawk Community Health
Center, 341 Mohawk School Road 12:00 Noon to 2:00 P.M.
October 21, 2006 Jameson South Campus,
1000 S. Mercer Street 9:00 A.M. to 12:00 Noon
October 23, 2006 - Challenges (Office on
Aging is located at Schenly Square, 2706 Mercer Road, New Castle,
PA.) 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM
October 25, 2006 New Wilmington Community
Health Center, 138 S. Market St., New Wilmington, PA 2:00 P.M.
to 5:00 P.M.
To
avoid delays in receiving the flu vaccine, please follow these
guidelines:

Flu Vaccine will be
administered to adults 18 and older
according to the CDC guidelines.
·
Persons with
allergies to a previous flu vaccine injection, eggs,
chickens, Thimerosol
(Mercury), latex or
persons with Guillain-
Barre syndrome or other Neurological disorders should not
receive
FLUARIX Influenza Virus
Vaccine.
·
Cost is $30.00.
·
Traditional Medicare,
Security Blue, and Freedom Blue are accepted.
·
Advantra, Health
Assurance, Health America and other insurances
and HMOs are not accepted
·
Be sure to bring all
of your insurance cards, wear a short sleeved top or
shirt and bring your glasses.
