Jameson Health System Holds Annual Meeting

New Castle, PA - The Jameson Health System Membership held its annual meeting on September 21, 2005 in the May Emma Hoyt Nurses Residence Auditorium. 

Three new members were elected to the Jameson Health System’s Membership.  The newly elected members are Paul E. Wawrzynski, II, M.D. Cardiologist with Northwest Regional Cardiology; Ben Huffman, Director of Finance with Ellwood City Forge; and Jay H. Bruce, President of Bruce & Merrilees Electric Company. 

In addition to the Membership elections, Mr. Kenneth Romig, Vice President of Finance & Mgt Services at Westminster College was elected to a three-year term on the Jameson Health System Board of Directors in addition to his service on the Jameson Hospital Board of Directors. 

During the Jameson Health System Board of Directors Reorganization meeting held directly following the Annual Meeting, the following new Board appointments were voted upon:

Louis Merryman, President of Consolidated Glass Corporation

Diana Whittaker, Jameson Junior Guild

Jameson Health Care Foundation Board of Directors

Randy Silverman, Vice President, Klafter’s Inc.

Children’s Advocacy Center Board of Directors

Paul Colby, Jr., President, Spirex Company

All members are area residents with community ties and service, and will bring continuity to the mission of providing quality health care in our community.
