4th
Annual Jameson Employee Golf Outing
New Castle, PA - The
day was perfect for this year’s 4th Annual Jameson Employee Golf
Outing held on Friday, September 9, 2005, at Mohawk Trails Golf
Course. The 36
golfers who participated in the event were terrific throughout the
event. Everyone
walked away with prizes and satisfied appetites.
Snacks and
drinks were delivered to the golfers throughout the course in an
effort to boost our golfers strength during their tough ordeal to
win against the Senior Management Golf Team.
Congratulations
to the following winners of the 4th Annual Employee
Golf Outing! The
first place overall winning team was Chris Park, Gary Clobus,
Marty Clobus and Larry Baron .
The second place team was Terry Gibson, Fred Gibson, David
Black and Susan Hoover.
Skill prizes
for the longest drive for men was awarded to Fred Gibson and
longest drive for women was awarded to Kathi McFerren.
Skill prizes for closest to pin for men was awarded to Joe
Frank with no winner for the women.
Skill prizes for the longest putt for
men was awarded to Mike Bruening and longest putt for women was
awarded to Judy Still.
After a tough 18 holes of trying to win against the Senior
Management Team, the golfers were rewarded upon their return from
golfing with hot wings, cold salads and dessert.
CEO/President of the Jameson Health System, Thomas White,
awarded the prizes to the lucky golfers.
Golfers walked away with prizes as their names were called
as all anticipated winning the coveted set of Irons and Bag.
Cheers erupted from the crowd, as Larry Baron became the
lucky owner of the MacGregor
Iron and Datrek Navigator Bag with NCCC logo.
All
proceeds from the golf outing benefited the Children’s Advocacy
Center.
The
highlight of the event for the Employee Golf Outing was to beat
the Senior Management Team’s golf score.
All golfers accepted the challenge to score lower
than the Senior Management Golf Team and have their name placed in
a drawing for a Titleist Driver. Sam
Mielke accepted the challenge and walked away with the Titleist
Driver amid loud cheering from the onlookers.
Thanks
to all who participated by golfing and to those who worked very
hard to make this event happen!
