3RD
Annual Jameson Employee Golf Outing
New Castle, PA - The
day was sweltering, hot and humid for this year’s 3rd
Annual Jameson Employee Golf Outing held on Friday, August 27,
2004, at Mohawk Trails Golf Course.
The 44 golfers who participated in the event were terrific
throughout the sultry weather.
Everyone attending walked away with prizes and satisfied
appetites.
Snacks and
drinks were delivered to the golfers throughout the course in an
effort to boost our golfers strength during the oppressive heat.
Congratulations to the following winners of the 3rd
Annual Employee Golf Outing! The first place overall winning team with a low net score of
53.6 was Tim Haynes, John Masi, Larry Haynes and David Haynes.
The Low Gross Winning Team with a low gross score of 18
under was Richard DeAugustine, Brad Palmer, Michael DeAngelo and
Dan Mangino.
Skill prizes for the longest drive for men was awarded
to Brad Palmer and longest drive for ladies was awarded to Renee
Capatt. Skill prizes
for closest to pin for men was awarded to John Masi but none of
the ladies were able to qualify.
Skill prizes for the longest putt for men was awarded to
David Black and longest putt for women was awarded to Rene
Yeropoli.
Hot and
perspiring from the sticky heat, the golfers were rewarded upon
their return from golfing with hot wings, cold salads and dessert.
Emcee Doug Danko awarded trophies and prizes to the lucky
golfers. Golfers
walked off with armfuls of raffle prizes as their names were
called as all anticipated winning the coveted set of Cobra Irons
and Bag. Cheers
erupted from the crowd, as Ralph Brest became the lucky owner of
the Cobra Irons and Bag. All
proceeds from the golf outing benefited the Children’s Advocacy
Center and Cardiac Care.
The highlight
of the event for the Employee Golf Outing is the Senior Management
Team who participates at the golfer’s request to golf for them
in a pinch.
Thanks to all
who participated by golfing and to those who worked very hard to
make this event happen!
