The
Facility
In order to promote
privacy and independence, we have designed a physical layout
for our residents that offers both. The option of selecting
a studio or one-bedroom apartment is available
to the residents. Each suite offers a private
specially-designed bathroom, kitchenette, spacious storage
and linen closet, window view and climate-control for air
and heat. More importantly, our residents and their loved
ones have the peace of mind that they have 24-hour-a-day, 7
day-a-week access to quality nursing care provided by our
skilled caregivers.
Special
Features:
- Main Lobby and
Concierge Service - A beautifully
furnished glass-enclosed lobby/lounge area greets
residents and visitors coming into the main entrance to
Jameson Place. A Concierge is on hand to welcome and to
provide guest services to those utilizing the facility.
- Library/Recreation
Room - Located on the first floor is a
comfortable reading and activity room available to
residents and visitors; whether they want to enjoy quiet
moments with a good book or join their friends in a
social activity.
- Dining Room
- A large, brightly-lit, central dining room is
available for resident dining - three meals per day.
Featuring a beautiful scenic view through glassed
windows, the table seating and restaurant-style service
promotes a private enjoyable dining atmosphere. A
complete meal program and nutrition planning are part of
the comprehensive dietary program.
- Private
Dining/Activity Room - A spacious
private dining room is also available for use by
residents and their family members to spend private time
together for social activities, birthday parties or
other special celebrations. The room has a fully
equipped kitchen for baking and/or meal preparation.
- Laundry Area
- A complete laundry room is easily accessible to
residents and their family members who wish to maintain
their own laundering needs. Weekly or monthly laundry
services are available to those residents who require
assistance with this task.
- Lounge -
A large comfortably decorated lounge is located on the
first floor of the center Complete with a gas fireplace, this area provides many opportunities to
have the company of friends and family while also
enjoying the beautifully wooded view through a glassed
wall. Additional lounge areas are available on each
level.
- Whirlpool
- For those who enjoy a private whirlpool, a
specially designed easy-access bathtub is available for
therapeutic massaging and is located on the second floor
of the facility.
- Hair Care
Center - A complete hair care center is
available for both male and female residents for their
hair care needs. Arrangements can be made by area
barbers and beauticians for shampoo, sets or cuts.
- Special
Amenities - Rooms are available for those
residents who require special considerations such as
approved rooms that meet the needs for those utilizing
wheelchairs, walkers, etc. and for those individuals who
are hearing impaired. Please inquire with the admissions
coordinator as to the availability of such rooms.
- Parking -
Free parking in a well-lit parking lot is available for
those residents who choose to maintain vehicles at their
residence.
